STARFIRE AT SCOTTSDALE CC - SCOTTSDALE, AZ
Starfire offers three distinct nine-hole designs.
The original 18, the North and the South opened in 1953 while the
East course debuted over thirty years later. In the early 80's,
the legendary Arnold Palmer extensively redesigned both the North
and South courses. In 1985, Palmer completed the East course. The
North course provides a solid test for all levels of players. With
mature, tree-lined fairways and beautifully manicured bunkers, the
North will entice you to use every club in the bag. Playable, reachable
par-5's and challenging par-3's are its highlights. The South course
features a traditional layout and ample, rolling greens. With a
lone, medium-length par-5 and several testy par-4's, the South requires
golfers to be accurate, precise and smart with club selection. The
East course is a classic resort-style layout featuring an intriguing
mix of three par-3's, three par-4's and three par-5's. The East
is Starfire's longest nine and water is play on 5 holes.
